Crew Member - Commercial

Southern Botanical is seeking Landscape Crew Members who take pride in their work and deliver excellent customer service every day. In this role, you will work alongside your team to support daily landscape maintenance and/or installation on client properties by safely operating equipment and hand tools, following direction from your supervisor, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to company standards.

 

Position Responsibilities

• Safely operate landscape equipment and hand tools as assigned
• Assist with day-to-day landscape maintenance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free work environment
• Work efficiently as part of a team to complete assigned tasks
• Follow company processes, safety guidelines, and quality standards
• Perform all duties the SoBo Way

Requirements:

• Valid state driver’s license preferred; must be eligible to work on job sites and operate company equipment as assigned
• 1-2 years’ experience in landscape field
• Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and general site cleanup
• Ability to follow work instructions, schedules, and job-site direction from a Crew Leader or Supervisor
• Ability to safely use landscape tools and equipment after training
• Willingness to learn proper use, care, and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with crew leaders and supervisors
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds

Include external environment dealing with all weather and terrain exposure. Safety equipment includes, but is not limited to hard hats, gloves, earplugs, safety vest and safety glasses. This position requires the ability to work during inclement weather events.
