MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN - AUSTIN, TEXAS

Manufacturing Technicians – 18 Month Contract to Hire (Austin, TX) Manufacturing Technicians needed for a contract to hire position. 18 month contract with potential for permanent hiring. Qualifications 2 to 3 years of electro‑mechanical assembly and testing of finished products. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Troubleshoot and repair assemblies. Excellent computer skills. Vacuum experience. Training provided for those lacking experience. Semi‑conductor and SAP experience is a plus. Responsibilities Utilize routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, and verbal or written instructions to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, sub‑assemblies and components. Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair, and identify and correct errors. Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to test assemblies, sub‑assemblies and components. Record data on computer terminals, such as progress, work expense and labor details. May perform computer programming, repair or software installs. Finish detailed work documentation. Receive and audit parts to ensure all necessary components are available; inspect parts for defects. Troubleshoot and improve processes. Shift Schedule

1. st Shift – 5:30 AM to 4:30 PM
2. nd Shift – 4:00 PM to 3:00 AM (10% differential)

Weekend Shift – 5 AM to 4 PM Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday (10% differential) Weekend Evening Shift – 5 PM to 4 AM (18% differential) Compensation Estimated Minimum Rate: $25.00 per hour. Estimated Maximum Rate: $26.00 per hour. Actual pay determined by experience and qualifications.
