Fabricator

SHIFT: 1st

PAY RATE: $25/hr

Armada Staffing Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Fabricator to join our manufacturing team!

Are you mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand and power tools, and able to read detailed drawings and assembly instructions? We are looking for a Fabricator who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and building products correctly the first time.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving fabrication, assembly, measuring, fitting, and quality inspection.

What You'll Do

• Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions

• Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, fit, and assemble components

• Measure and verify dimensions and product specifications

• Mark cutting lines accurately on materials

• Align components and secure them using bolts, screws, and other fasteners

• Ensure all required components and materials are available before assembly

• Fit and align parts according to specifications

• Inspect completed work to ensure proper fit, alignment, and quality

• Identify and resolve assembly or fabrication issues

• Follow quality-control standards and production requirements

• Maintain an organized and safe work area

• Work independently or with minimal supervision

• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

• Perform other fabrication and assembly duties within your skill set as needed

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, construction, or a related field

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and building plans

• Experience using hand tools and power tools

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Ability to accurately measure and verify dimensions

• Strong attention to detail

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Excellent organization and time-management skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Good communication skills

• Ability to read, write, and understand English

• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on manufacturing position. Candidates must be able to:

• Stand and walk for extended periods

• Frequently bend, crouch, kneel, and reach

• Climb ladders safely

• Work in confined or awkward spaces when necessary

• Crawl or maneuver around equipment

• Lift up to 50 pounds

• Use hand and power tools throughout the workday
