Deputy Project Manager

Overview BlueWater Federal is looking for a Deputy Project Manager to support FEMA in SW Washington DC. Responsibilities Support the Project Manager with day-to-day contract execution and serve as the acting Project Manager in the PM's absence. Manage daily operations and activities, manage task assignments, deliverables, schedules; coordinate support across technical teams, monitors deliverables, supports staffing, oversees schedules, tracks performance metrics, and ensures timely completion of and quality control for all contract requirements. Serve as the primary integrator between technical subject matter experts and program leadership. Support FEMA NIMS meetings, coordinate responses to project action items, track decisions and follow-up actions, and support stakeholder engagement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree 3+ years of project manager experience Must have an active Public Trust clearance. Demonstrated ability to support multiple complex, time‑critical support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing activities PMP certification preferred.
