Company Description:

Our client, a private equity-backed organization experiencing significant growth, is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to join its leadership team. Reporting directly to and partnering closely with the CFO, this high-impact role offers substantial visibility across the organization and regular interaction with executive leadership. The Manager of Financial Reporting will oversee the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and private equity requirements while supporting strategic initiatives and business growth. Their ideal candidate will be coming from a Public Accounting upbringing or have experience with Private-Equity reporting packages

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and private equity reporting requirements.
• Consolidate and analyze financial results across multiple entities, supporting adjusted EBITDA reporting, pro forma analyses, and key performance metrics utilized by executive leadership, lenders, and ownership groups.
• Serve as the primary liaison to private equity sponsors, lenders, and executive leadership, delivering financial packages, business insights, and performance commentary to support strategic decision-making.
• Support acquisition integration activities by standardizing reporting structures, aligning accounting practices, and developing comparative financial reporting for newly acquired businesses.
• Monitor compliance with debt agreements and financial covenants, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to lender requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and partner with third-party advisors on technical accounting matters, transaction support, and Quality of Earnings initiatives.
• Drive process improvement and reporting automation initiatives, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and financial data integrity.
• Analyze operational, regional, and company-wide performance trends, providing actionable insights into profitability, growth opportunities, and business performance drivers.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly reporting packages for executive leadership, board members, lenders, and private equity stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain strong internal controls, reporting policies, and best practices while mentoring and developing members of the accounting and finance team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree
• Public Accounting experience is highly desired. (Big 4 or Mid-Tier Firms).
• Private-Equity reporting experience is required.
• CPA license is highly desired.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, business leaders, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
