VP, Operational Finance

We're recruiting a VP of Operational Finance for a publicly traded global services organization to lead finance across its air testing division.

• $200,000–$250,000

Responsibilities:

• Own FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning across a multi-site North American field-services business.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close, ensuring accurate GAAP-compliant reporting and executive performance narratives.
• Partner with operational leaders on margin improvement, pricing strategy, and KPI development.
• Oversee revenue recognition, accruals, fixed assets, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
• Lead ERP enhancements, financial system standardization, and process automation.
• Support M&A due diligence, integration, and synergy realization.
• Serve as key liaison across Operations, Corporate Finance, Accounting, HR, IT, and Legal.
• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed finance team.

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience in a senior leadership role.
• Background in operational finance or FP&A within a services or project-based business; public company experience preferred.
• Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and hands-on understanding of P2P, O2C, and R2R cycles.
• Experience with ERP systems and finance transformation; Workday strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in margin improvement, M&A, and leading distributed teams.
• Executive presence with strong communication and influencing skills.
