Our focus on the human edge—judgment, rigor, ingenuity, conviction, and confidence—guides our "One Haas" culture. The eHub at Berkeley is UC Berkeley’s home for practice‑based entrepreneurship, bringing together students, mentors, alumni and partners committed to building a better future. Responsibilities Member Engagement & Community Experience Serve as the on‑site coordinator during extended hours; welcome and orient members and guests, answer questions, and provide front‑line support. Staff and support member‑facing events (workshops, mixers, pitch nights), including check‑in, participant flow, hospitality, and event wrap‑up. Model community norms and serve as a resource for members navigating entrepreneurship or seeking connection. Troubleshoot member issues and elevate concerns to the Executive Director as needed. Operations & Administrative Support Reconcile expense documentation for supplies, programs, and events; ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely submission. Prepare and deliver regular attendance, space‑usage, and participation reports; maintain data accuracy across all tracking tools. Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory of supplies, including office, kitchen, event materials, and signage; anticipate needs and maintain stock. Maintain accurate member check‑in logs, event participation data, and other usage records; support audits and data reviews. Provide logistics support for evening/weekend events, including room configuration, AV setups, vendor/catering coordination, and documentation. Manage all printing needs (flyers, blue cards, signage, decks), ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Track orders, receipts, and operational needs. Space Oversight & Safety Ensure the eHub remains clean, functional, and ready for member use during extended hours, including seating areas, studios, meeting rooms, and hospitality zones. Monitor AV equipment, tech peripherals, signage, and space flow; identify issues and coordinate solutions with campus facilities, IT, or security. Respond to and troubleshoot facility or operational issues that arise during extended hours; use judgment to elevate when necessary. Maintain a safe and orderly environment aligned with campus policies and entrepreneurship center guidelines. Professional Learning and Growth Actively contribute to a team environment that fosters belonging for all, within the unit and at Haas. Operational readiness: ability and willingness to set up/break down furniture or supplies, lift up to ~30 lbs occasionally, and support physical event/space needs. High School diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Experience in student services, community management, coworking spaces, innovation hubs, or similar membership‑oriented environments.
