We are currently seeking a highly skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis, working two days a week with the potential for additional days in the future. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and collaborating effectively in a team-based environment. As a Dental Hygienist, your primary responsibilities will include: conducting comprehensive oral health assessments and reviewing patients' dental and health history, performing thorough prophylaxis, including scaling and removing calculus deposits and stains from teeth, taking and developing dental X-rays, applying sealants and fluoride treatments, educating and counseling patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care, detecting disease by conducting oral cancer screenings and examining gums for signs of periodontal disease, maintaining accurate and thorough patient records and documenting treatment plans and procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment in accordance with OSHA standards, and collaborating with the dentist and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
