Position Details Working Title: International Programs Assistant Coordinator Hiring Unit: UH West Oahu – Academic Affairs Position Number: Casual Location: Kapolei Date Posted: 06/01/2026 Salary Range: $25.72 per hour Schedule: Variable, up to 20 hours/week Permanent/Temporary: Temporary Funding: Federal Job Duties and Responsibilities The International Programs Assistant Coordinator will work directly with the Director of the University of Hawaii – West O'ahu Office of Global Engagement and other UHWO faculty. Conduct day-to-day operations of the UH West O'ahu Office of Global Engagement. Assist in managing and directing assigned services, programs, and operations related to International Programs and/or International Students. Work with other UHWO Staff on matters regarding International affairs. Coordinate outbound and inbound international programs at UH West O'ahu. Maintain functional knowledge of administrative and organizational processes as applied to the management of operations, services, facilities, and programs. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a baccalaureate degree in education, communication, humanities, or a related field. Equivalent of at least two (2) years of progressively responsible professional experience providing educational services for international students. Two (2) or more years of prior experience working with international students and coordinating international programs. Demonstrated ability in program development, including needs assessment, design, and evaluation. Ability to work outside normally scheduled business hours, including evenings and weekends. Must be able to work in person at the UH West O'ahu campus.
