Location: Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Fairmont, WV
Shifts Available: Full-time, 5-day workweek

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Nurse RN to provide specialized wound care services and ensure exceptional clinical outcomes for our residents in our skilled nursing facility.

Your Role as a Wound Nurse RN:

• Provide comprehensive wound assessments, treatments, and preventative care

• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans based on clinical best practices

• Collaborate closely with physicians, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to support healing and prevent complications

• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Educate staff on proper wound care protocols, skin integrity preservation, and infection control

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

• Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff regarding wound care techniques and best practices

• Uphold all infection control policies to support a safe, clean, and compliant environment

Who We’re Looking For:

• Current RN license in the state of WV or a compact state

• Prior wound care experience preferred (WCC, WOCN, or related certification is a plus but not required)

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• Strong clinical assessment skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to resident care

• Commitment to maintaining dignity, comfort, and quality of life for all residents
