Job Summary

North Freeway Hyundai/Genesis of Spring is looking for an energetic, detail-oriented BDC / Internet Sales Representative to join our Business Development Center. This role is the first point of contact for many of our customers responding to internet leads, phone calls, and online inquiries, and turning them into confirmed, shown appointments for our sales team. The ideal candidate is a great communicator who thrives on a fast-paced, goal-driven team and takes pride in delivering a great first impression of our dealership.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to internet leads, phone calls, texts, and chat inquiries from our website and third-party listing sites.
• Schedule sales appointments and accurately log all customer activity, appointments, and show confirmations in the dealership CRM prior to customer arrival.
• Follow up with customers ahead of their scheduled visit to confirm appointments and minimize no-shows.
• Verify and document customer arrivals, ensuring appointments are properly logged as shown and handed off smoothly to the sales team.
• Partner closely with sales and desk managers to help convert scheduled appointments into completed vehicle sales.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all customer interactions and outcomes in the CRM.
• Meet monthly performance goals for scheduled and shown appointments.
• Follow dealership quality-control standards for appointment logging and reporting to ensure accurate, verifiable records.
• Deliver friendly, high-energy, professional customer service that reflects the North Freeway Hyundai/Genesis of Spring brand.

Qualifications

• Previous BDC, call center, telemarketing, or customer service experience preferred; automotive industry experience is a plus but not required.
• Excellent phone, email, and text communication skills.
• Comfortable learning and using CRM software and other basic computer/data entry tools.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, energetic, goal-driven attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Reliable and punctual, with the flexibility to work some evenings and weekends based on business needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Work Environment

This position is based on-site at North Freeway Hyundai/Genesis of Spring and involves extended time on the phone and computer in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment.
