This 408-bed acute care facility operates as a Level III trauma center, providing general surgery and trauma surgical services across inpatient and emergency room settings. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and the resources necessary to support call-based surgical coverage on an on-site basis. Clinical operations are structured to ensure quality surgical care delivery for the patient population served.

Colorado offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of regional attractions and year-round activities suited to varied interests. The state hosts seasonal events such as fall festivals, wine-focused gatherings featuring food and wine pairings, live music, and outdoor events at various locations across the state. Clinicians will find diverse recreational and cultural options throughout the region during their assignment.

Clinicians will provide 24-hour call coverage for general surgery and trauma services across inpatient and emergency room settings at an on-site Level III trauma center in Colorado, beginning in September on an ongoing basis. Primary responsibilities include serving on call for trauma surgery, performing surgical procedures as indicated, assessing trauma patients at the request of the ED clinician, assisting with patient transfers, admitting patients as needed, and performing central line placement. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and board certification in General Surgery is mandatory. Registered nurse support is available to assist with clinical operations throughout the assignment.
