We are seeking a reliable and energetic full-time Transfer Driver. The Transfer Driver's responsibilities include driving a company delivery vehicle to transport merchandise between the warehouse and the company stores as well as loading and unloading merchandise.

 

A CDL is NOT required for this position. License MUST be approved by insurance. Come be part of the growing team!

 

To be considered, MUST have previous delivery driving experience , a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD , and a BACKGROUND clear of ALL CRIMINAL ACTIVITY .

What You’ll Do:

• Load, secure, and protect the merchandise in the delivery vehicle and safely transport to showrooms
• Unload merchandise at showrooms and perform basic assembly
• Assist with room set ups on showroom floor
• Assist Floor Coordinator decorate showrooms (hang art, hang rugs, adjust track lights)
• Maintain compliance with the company’s driver qualification policy
• Abide by all transportation laws
• Comply with all company delivery vehicle safety standards and documentation
• Serve as a backup for the Furniture Delivery Driver

 

What You'll Bring:

• Must be punctual and reliable
• Must have a positive attitude
• Ability to move and lift heavy objects
• Must have previous delivery driving experience
• Experience with assembling furniture is a plus
• Knowledge of hand tools
• Background check free of criminal activity
