Project Manager

Project Manager will lead agile product development teams to establish and maintain continuous flow of business value with a strong emphasis on Scaled Agile Framework. It is critical that this position works to lead a team through adaptive changes, iterative designs, and always alert through communication for ways to improve.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Coach scrum teams on Scrum/Agile practices.
• Lead recurring daily scrum meetings.
• Conduct sprint retrospectives.
• Effectively communicate business expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve business goals.
• Identify and manage dependencies and critical path to product launch.
• Conduct status reviews for executives.
• Conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Maintain project management systems and documentation.
• Support product launches through procurement and operational activities.
• Other duties, as required.

Qualifications:

• Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from four year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience; and 1 to 3 years demonstrated experience leading projects.
• PMP certification preferred.
• SAFe certification preferred.
• Scrum Master certification preferred.
• An engineering background is not required but considered a plus.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office. Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Jira or similar. Familiar with ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
• Language Ability: For business and safety reasons, ability to write reports and business correspondence in English and effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, technicians, and assemblers in English.
• Quality Commitment: Assist the organization with establishing practices that align with ISO requirements.
• Other Skills: Experience with change management practices. Knowledge of lean manufacturing.
• Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logic or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal with non-verbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) Ability to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
• Physical Demands: While performing the functions of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop and kneel; use hands, reach with hands and arms; communicate clearly and effectively. The employee may also be frequently required to lift up to 10 pounds.
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work and shop environment is moderate to loud. While performing the duties of this position the employee may occasionally be required to work near fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee may also be required to work near moving mechanical parts.
