Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule: Nights

Assignment Details: Minimum Years of Experience: Less than 1 year

Requirements:

• Current Washington State RN Licensure
• HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire
• Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred
• ACLS certification to be obtained within 6 months of hire
• AAP NRP Advanced certification required prior to the end of orientation and renewed every 2 years
• AWHONNs Intermediate Fetal Monitoring course required within 3 months of completing L&D training

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and collect data related to the patient's physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
• Implement care plans in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical records.
• Demonstrate effective delegation and supervision of patient care activities.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
• Provide patient and family education based on identified learning needs.
