We are the world's trusted infrastructure consulting firm, partnering with clients to solve the world's most complex challenges and build legacies for future generations.AECOM is seeking a Senior Specialist skilled in the Procurement of Construction Works and Services to be based in New York City or Dallas, TX.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Review project requirements and draft/review/finalize procurement strategy memosPrepare and issue Requests for Information / Requests for Qualification / Requests for Proposal in client's Project Management Information SystemFollow up with, and respond to vendors prior to releasing the RFP, during the bid period, and after bid submission, to answer any questions up to the awardLevel and analyze bids based on completeness, competitiveness, compliance, adherence to quality expectations, cost, schedule, ESG, etc.Be knowledgeable of industry trends to determine appropriate pricingPrepare and issue analysis report and recommendationEngage with General Contractors, Architects, Engineers and FF&E vendors to execute the work strategyParticipating in successful and unsuccessful bidder callsParticipate in negotiation and evaluation of contractsPrepare purchase orders, master agreements, letter agreements, and contracts for all appointments (architects/engineers, project managers, contractors, etc.), including any reviews with client's legal counselDevelop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractorsConduct market research to identify new vendors and evaluate their capabilitiesManage and report various stakeholders from multiple divisionsCollaborate with project managers to ensure procurement aligns with project timelines and budgetsMonitor and report on procurement performance metricsEnsure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standardsParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processesMinimum Requirements:BA/BS and four years of procurement experience in the corporate office interiors space or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationExperience in construction management, architecture or a related disciplinePreferred Requirements:Strong understanding of different forms of contracts and contracting strategies – especially as relates to design and constructionStrong written and oral communication, including chairing meetings with client's senior management team, and vendorsAbility to work in collaborative environment but also to work independently/unsupervisedStrong experience in using PMIS platforms such as PMWeb, Ariba, etcRelevant Industry certifications such as PMI-CP, MRICS, CCP, etcThis posting is for a current vacancy, and AECOM intends to fill this position by December 9, 2026.
