Senior Accountant

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant. This position is onsite and located in El Segundo, CA.Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 + equityResponsibilities:Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and ensuring financial reporting deadlines are met.Perform account reconciliations across key balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, and intercompany transactions.Assist with financial statement variance analysis by researching and explaining monthly fluctuations.Help standardize accounting processes and improve general ledger accuracy across multiple business entities.Prepare audit support documentation, maintain organized workpapers, and assist with the company's external audit process.Support inventory accounting activities, including inventory reconciliations, standard cost variance analysis, and physical inventory counts.Document accounting procedures and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support ongoing business integration efforts.Required Qualifications:3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally combining public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) with private industry experience.Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including areas such as accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and lease accounting.Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or multi-entity environment is highly preferred.Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze financial data and prepare supporting schedules.Experience working with ERP systems and processing journal entries in complex accounting environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across accounting and operational teams.The Solomon Page Distinction Our teams, comprised of subject matter experts, develop an interest in your preferences and goals and we act as an advisor for your career advancement.
