Description Receiving Clerk Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating the flow of incoming materials to facility.
Duties and Responsibilities: • Receiving incoming shipments and comparing items to PO's for verification. • Record received items into inventory management system. • Prepare items for shipment & create BOL's. • Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries. • Maintain accurate inventory records. • Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory checks. • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve any issues or discrepancies. • Operate forklift and other equipment, as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: • Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role. • Ability to operate a forklift. • Knowledge of inventory management systems is preferred. • Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
