Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Humble, TX – Sam's Club #6367, 9665 FM 1960 Bypass, Humble, TX 77338-4043 $17.00 - $25.00/hr Full time Shifts may vary Position Summary Prepared meals and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for members by following recipes and consistently delivering warm, ready‑to‑eat rotisserie chicken. Members rely on accurate wrapping, labeling, and storage to keep products fresh for home use. The role involves juggling multiple tasks, assisting with bakery orders, and ensuring a clean, organized work environment that makes every shopping experience positive. Responsibilities Show passion for fresh food and maintain high member satisfaction. Seek solutions and tackle obstacles head‑on, adapting quickly to change. Ensure high‑quality products in the prepared foods area. Keep shelves clean, maintain temperature control, verify expiration dates, and dispose lesser‑quality food products. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies—including handling claims, returns, zoning, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate effectively, and be flexible to work in other areas. Prepare food according to specifications, manage future productions and seasonality, and comply with food safety, sanitation, cold chain, and inventory‑management standards. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment and demonstrate understanding of product layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and support associate engagement. Drive area performance, manage exposure, stock and rotate merchandise, enforce quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, and guide peers. Advocate for the department and club by modeling high‑quality service and products and demonstrating energy and commitment. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards through open‑door communication. Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicate progress and recommend improvements. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
