Senior Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift - Starting at USD 28.01 (hourly) + USD 2 Shift Premium

Senior Engineering Technician position at a medical device manufacturing facility supporting equipment operations, process development, and production optimization. Role involves technical troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration on the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent technical support and troubleshooting for production equipment and process-controlled systems
- Lead 6S initiatives and document safety concerns within production areas
- Recommend, specify, and implement equipment upgrades, replacements, and new purchases with engineering teams
- Coordinate with vendors on tooling and process improvements; specify tooling for new or existing processes
- Support validation activities including equipment qualifications, process validations, and training of production staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years controls experience
- Proficiency reading mechanical prints and using calibrated measurement devices
- Preferred: 5 years manufacturing or process development experience
- Preferred: Allen Bradley or Python experience
- Preferred: Journeyman industrial maintenance certification or PLC/HMI/SCADA knowledge
Compensation: $28.01–$38.75 per hour plus $2 shift premium
