Join us as a Machine Builder.Location Type: This position is onsite in Nashville, TN.Role Overview:We are seeking a skilled Machine Builder with strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail, particularly regarding fit, finish, and high-precision assembly. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling custom automated machinery from the ground up. This may include domestic and international travel, depending on project requirements.Note: This list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive; rather, it is intended as a guideline for the primary duties of the position.What You'll Bring:High school diploma or GED required; technical training or apprenticeship preferredProven experience as a Machine Builder, Mechanical Assembler, or in a related role within automation or machinery manufacturing is highly preferredAbility to demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on assembly skillsExceptional attention to detail, with a focus on quality, alignment, and overall craftsmanshipAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, CAD prints, and assembly documentationExperience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical assembly equipmentFamiliarity with pneumatics, linear motion components, and industrial hardwareBasic understanding of electrical wiring or panel wiring, or a willingness to learn, is a plusAbility to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and adapt in a custom-build environmentPrior JR Automation experience or experience within the automation industry is strongly preferredDisclaimer: JR Automation requires candidates to successfully complete a 10-panel drug screen, physical examination, and background check.Company Overview:At JR Automation, a Hitachi Group Company, we discover potential, reimagine limits, and advance industry.
