Responsibilities include processing insurance claims, payments, insurance eligibility, benefit verification, account follow up, and assisting patients with financial options. This position requires direct communication with patients and other team members. Multitasking skills are a must./ph3Education Experience/h3ulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliOne-year medical billing experience is required (physician office billing preferred)/liliOne-year customer service experience/liliWorking knowledge of payer billing guidelines, including chart documentation requirements and coding/li/ulh3Essential Skills and Abilities/h3ulliExcellent written and oral communication skills/liliMust possess strong analytical, investigational and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose the root of the problem and develop recommendation for problem resolution/liliStrong organization and computer skills/liliExcellent follow-up skills/liliEfficient with MS Word and Excel/liliWell-organized with attention to detail/liliExcellent customer service skills/liliAbility to be flexible and manage multiple tasks simultaneously/liliAbility to work as a team player/liliStrong mathematical skills/liliKnowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Insurance billing guidelines/liliFriendly service and positive attitude/li/ul/div
