Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care within the PACU setting
• Function as an active member of the interdisciplinary care team to support safe and effective post-anesthesia recovery
• Manage care for patients requiring pressors, cardiac drips, insulin, and inotropes (all patients other than open heart)
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic medical records system
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Fulfill holiday coverage requirements, including working 1–2 of 3 designated summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PACU or relevant clinical nursing experience
• Active Wisconsin RN state license
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Experience in a regional or trauma center environment
