The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within an assigned healthcare territory. The Outside Sales Associate is responsible for generating new business, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets within an assigned healthcare territory. This role focuses on engaging physicians, clinical teams, and administrative decision-makers while delivering exceptional service, education, and field support. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic territory sales plans to meet or exceed performance goals
- Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities across the region
- Deliver professional presentations and product education sessions to healthcare professionals
- Support contract discussions and help advance opportunities through the full sales cycle
- Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in hospitals, clinics, and private practices
- Provide ongoing support, training, and education to end users
- Respond promptly to customer questions, concerns, and feedback
- Monitor competitive activity, market shifts, and industry trends
- Track and analyze sales activity to inform strategic recommendations
- Maintain accurate and timely reports, forecasts, and CRM documentation
- Uphold compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies
- Collaborate closely with regional leadership and field partners
- Outside sales experience required
- Healthcare sales experience preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Associate degree with relevant experience required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage a multi-state or regional territory
- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software
- Understanding of healthcare environments, clinical workflows, or medical technologies
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly
- Flexibility to work occasional off-hours as needed
- Frequent travel to healthcare facilities within the assigned territory
- Routine visits to hospitals, clinics, and medical offices
- Ability to lift and transport samples or medium-sized boxes as required for field support
