Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist - Contingent/IRP Department: James | Rehabilitation Services Location: James Cancer Hospital (0375) Position Type: Intermittent Scheduled Hours: 0.2 Shift: First Shift Responsibilities Assess patients and establish plans of care with the rehabilitation team. Provide a wide variety of treatment techniques tailored to individual needs. Offer education and support to patients and families. Facilitate continuing care planning and coordination with the multidisciplinary team. Evaluate quality of services and participate in outcomes management activities. Report to the rehabilitation manager for supervisory tasks while collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other health care professionals. Qualifications Master's level degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent. Licensed or certified speech language pathologist, cleared through the National Database of Practitioners. Minimum of one to two years of experience working in a medical setting (preferred). Ability to work within a continuous performance improvement environment and contribute to team-based patient care. Additional Requirements Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. Drug screen or physical may be required during the post-offer process.
