Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients spanning pediatric to geriatric demographics utilizing both validated assessments and observational methods.
• Craft tailored treatment strategies focused on both immediate goals and sustainable communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver focused, individualized therapy aimed at enhancing language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing abilities.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a fantastic team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, families, and caregivers to create cohesive, holistic care plans.
• Empower patients and families with educational support to foster progress within everyday settings outside of therapy sessions.
• Assist in occasional inpatient assessments and interventions to ensure consistent and ongoing care throughout the treatment path.
• Uphold meticulous and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Commit to keeping abreast of cutting-edge advancements in the field through continuous education and interaction with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if you have yet to achieve ASHA certification.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
