This position plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime by ensuring technicians and field personnel receive the correct parts when needed.**Essential functions and responsibilities:*** Pick up and deliver parts, tools, and supplies between vendors, company facilities, and job sites.* Verify parts received against purchase orders and packing slips.* Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting parts safely.* Coordinate with parts, service, and operations personnel to prioritize deliveries.* Inspect delivered parts for damage and report discrepancies.* Keep company vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained.* Follow all company safety policies and procedures.* Maintain positive working relationships with vendors and team members.* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals* Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill* Additional tasks as needed to enhance the operations of the company**Requirements:*** Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications; bilingual Spanish preferred* Ability to safely operate pickup trucks, trailers, forklifts, and warehouse equipment.* Support equipment uptime through efficient parts distribution.* Basic computer skills for inventory and delivery documentation.* Strong organizational and time-management skills.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.* Maintain timely and accurate deliveries.* Demonstrate safe work practices at all times.* Move around minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds* Ability to stand, walk, bend, and climb for extended periods.**Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:** Valid Drivers License with acceptable driving record.**Safety Policies and Practices**: The employee in this job must be knowledgeable about and follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as described in the company’s safety manual.**Education:** High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.**Experience:*** Experience in construction, equipment rental, or heavy equipment industries preferred.* Knowledge of general mechanical layout of Heavy Construction Equipment, parts, and components preferred.* Familiarity with inventory management systems preferred.* Strong communication and teamwork abilities preferred.**Physical Activity Level:** Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature.**Manual Dexterity:** Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers. Ability to perceive attributes of objects and materials.**Working Conditions:** Outdoor exposure to changing weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.)**Work Environment:** The work environment/physical demands characteristics described here are representative of those the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
