Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Utility Worker for our client. This job is responsible for supporting the kitchen and cafeteria team by maintaining a clean work environment, washing dishes, removing trash, and assisting with general cleaning duties. No cooking experience is required.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
- Wash dishes, trays, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Take out trash and recycle throughout the shift.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas.
- Sweep and mop floors as needed.
- Restock supplies and assist with general housekeeping duties.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Work with the team to keep the kitchen and cafeteria running smoothly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- No cooking required.
- Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
- Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
- Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
- Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Communication skills.
