Position Details Title: Clinical Supervisor – Tourette Syndrome Clinic (Co Adj Non-Teaching) Department: Psychological Services Center, Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) Position Status: Part Time Location: Rutgers University – New Brunswick, Piscataway, New Jersey Salary Details $50,000 - $66,000 Benefits Medical, prescription drug, and dental coverage Paid vacation, holidays, and various leave programs Competitive retirement benefits, including defined contribution plans and voluntary tax‑deferred savings options Employee and dependent educational benefits (when applicable) Life insurance coverage Employee discount programs Responsibilities Direct oversight of programming and supervision of doctoral students in assessment and treatment. Provide 1 hour of individual and 1 hour of group supervision to doctoral students on Thursdays each week. Provide weekly didactic training related to the treatment of Tourette Syndrome and related disorders. Create the didactic schedule and arrange for guest speakers as appropriate. Liaise with the New Jersey Center for Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders (NJCTS) and other community partners as needed. Report to the Director of the Center for Psychological Services and attend standing biweekly or monthly meetings. Qualifications Ph.D. or PsyD. Licensed as a practicing psychologist in New Jersey, licensed for at least two years. Experience providing and/or supervising psychotherapy and/or assessment. Experience treating Tourette Syndrome using cognitive‑behavioral approaches or treating other related childhood disorders (anxiety, impulse‑control disorders) is preferred. Knowledge of CBT approaches for youth with Tourette Syndrome or subclinical tics with comorbid anxiety and impulse control disorders.
