In 2014, the Museum unveiled a $100 million expansion that doubled its footprint. The Museum owns Hatch Show Print, a letterpress print shop opened in 1879, and it operates Historic RCA Studio B, where Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, and many others recorded. In addition, the Museum offers the Taylor Swift Education Center for students, teachers, and families, and dedicated performance spaces in the CMA Theater and Ford Theater, both of which regularly host nationally recognized live music and cultural events.In 2024, the Museum was awarded the prestigious National Medal of Arts by President Joe Biden. The medal is the highest award given to artists and arts institutions by the United States government. The White House Citation, which accompanied the medal, recognized the Museum's work, which "preserves history, honors giants of the genre, and inspires future generations to write their own songs about the American story."Position Overview: We currently have an immediate opening for a Banquet Bartender. As a Banquet Bartender, you could fill an important role in providing quality service to a diverse range of guests while contributing to the creation of many successful event operations.Specific Job Duties:Ability to read and understand orders to safely, efficiently, and promptly set up and break down events in a timely mannerProvide exceptional service to our patrons as directed and instructed by the leadershipComplete other duties as assigned for effective time management and efficiencyMaintain personal hygiene and keep side stations in an orderly and sanitary mannerProvide friendly, professional guest service with enthusiasm and positive attitudeBe familiar with menu offerings in order to entice guests with its ingredients and preparationsRespond promptly, courteously and effectively to guest inquiries, requests, and concernsAbility to be respectful to fellow teammates and avoid conflictsAbility to communicate any issues or concerns with department leadersRequirementsMinimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:Two years hotel banquet food and beverage, or event service experience preferredTIPS trained to serve alcoholic beveragesKey Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):Must possess a 'can do' service attitudeWillingness to go the extra mile to ensure an event's successMust be detail-orientedMust have ability to handle multiple clients and events simultaneouslyBe able to lift, shift, and move 50 pounds during the eventsUnderstand and communicate effectively with the guests, teammates, and customersHave desire to grow professionally in the hospitality businessNotes to Applicant:The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is an equal opportunity employer.
