Suburban Hospital is a 228-bed, community-based, not-for-profit hospital that has served Montgomery County and the surrounding area since 1943. It is the designated trauma center for Montgomery County, is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, and offers complex and routine care for various specialties Unit Info: Intermediate Care Unit (20-bed Trauma, complex trauma, CV and acute medical Surgical patient). High acuity patients Minimum Education and Experience: Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state) Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred. Minimum of 6 months RN acute care PCU or IMCU experience required. Preferred, 1-year plus high acute Hospital experience or more. Applicants with an Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 4 years of hire Salary Range: Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
