The registered nurse provides care for medical/surgical patients varying by specialty from birth to adulthood. The unit specializes in heart, liver, and kidney transplants, genetic/metabolic diseases, and inpatient clinical research. This unit also specializes in cardiac/cardiac surgery patients, which includes step-down level of care. Common diagnoses include complex congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias, with medical and surgical intervention. Shift: Night Shift/ PRN Who Should Apply Associates degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program required Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required BLS CPR certification required RN work experience required (previous pediatric nursing experience preferred) Salary Range: Minimum 51.52/hour - Maximum 51.52/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
