Join Our Team at Johns Hopkins Hospital – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)- Registered Nurse Requisition #: 669891 Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287 Schedule: Rotating Shift. Weekly Working Hours: PRN. Employment Type: Casual / On Call. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Johns Hopkins Hospital is a 28-bed unit providing comprehensive medical and surgical intensive care for children from birth to 21 years old. As Maryland’s only Level 1 pediatric trauma center and state-designated pediatric burn ICU, the PICU cares for children up to 15 years of age with complex diagnoses including respiratory failure, metabolic disorders, seizure disorders, multiorgan failure, shock, toxic ingestions, and neonatal and pediatric ECMO. Our surgical services encompass extensive general, cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, and neurologic procedures. Qualifications Associate's Degree in nursing (ADN) (Required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program. RN-Registered Nurse License (Required) CPR - Basic CPR (Required) Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required) 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred) Prior Pediatric Critical Care nursing experience (Preferred) Salary Range: Minimum $53.07/hour - Maximum $53.07/hour.
