Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Caring Physique, you will be responsible for: Conducting thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to understand their unique needs and difficulties. Developing and implementing customized treatment plans that adhere to physician guidelines and incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities. Administering treatments that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and education to enable patients to regain their independence. Monitoring patients' progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to maximize functional recovery. Providing training and advice to patients and their caregivers about injury prevention and ongoing care strategies. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to share insights and improve patient care strategies. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and maintaining accurate patient documentation. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will involve treating a diverse patient population, including those with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions. By utilizing evidence-based strategies tailored to each individual's needs, you will empower patients throughout all stages of their rehabilitation journey. Building strong, trusting relationships with patients will be essential to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals. Qualifications To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications: A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program. A valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar clinical setting. Current Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in computer systems and word processing to maintain accurate patient records. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with experience in specialized areas such as pediatric therapy or sports rehabilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and a strong desire to remain updated on advancements in physical therapy will set you apart.
