Marketing Coordinator

Overview empirical is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to help bring marketing projects, communications, and company stories to life. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, keeping projects organized, and learning how different pieces of marketing come together. The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Strategist and a team of Marketing and Creative Partners to coordinate projects, gather content, support company events and initiatives, and help maintain consistency across the company’s marketing and communications. Join our dedicated team! This is an on-site position, located out of our Dakota Dunes, SD Headquarters. Responsibilities Marketing Project Coordination Coordinate marketing projects from initial request through final delivery, helping keep projects organized, moving forward, and on schedule. Manage project intake requests and gather the information, feedback, and approvals needed to move projects forward. Coordinate with internal teams, print vendors, digital vendors, and other marketing resources to support project completion. Help maintain organized marketing files, calendars, vendor information, events, and department processes. Assist with company events, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives. Help coordinate timelines, deliverables, and communication between marketing and creative partners. Support consistent use of company branding across marketing materials and communications. Content & Story Gathering Build relationships across departments to identify stories, accomplishments, and communication opportunities. Connect with employees and teams to learn about the work they are doing and identify stories worth sharing. Gather and organize content such as photos, videos, written information, and other materials for use across digital, social, internal, and external communications. Support the development and coordination of social media and website content. Assist with internal communications and other company messaging. Help turn information and employee stories into clear, engaging content that represents the company well. Must have regular and punctual attendance Qualifications Skills and Abilities General computer knowledge and proficiency. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Demonstrated Competencies Active listening skills to accurately capture verbal content and translate into written content that is authentic and engaging. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with people across all levels of the organization. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies quickly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Physical Requirements Primarily performed in an office environment. Regular use of a computer, telephone, and other standard office equipment. Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and perform routine office activities throughout the workday. May require occasional travel to sales events, company events, or company locations. Experience: Previous experience in marketing, communications, project support or an administrative support role preferred. Experience with social media platforms is a plus. Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
