Data Analyst / Data Reporting Analyst - W2 Only

EPMA is supporting an Oil & Gas organization. Their Engineering & Construction department is seeking a highly organized Data Analyst / Data Reporting Analyst / Business Operations Analyst to work directly with the Director of Project Controls. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with large datasets, building executive-level reports, improving data quality, and collaborating with project teams across the business. Title: Data Analyst / Data Reporting Analyst Type: Long term contract Location: Houston Downtown – need to be onsite, 5 days a week Industry: Oil & Gas Employment: W2 Employment only Responsibilities Extract, validate, and analyze project data from SAP and other systems Clean, organize, and maintain large datasets to ensure reporting accuracy Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly project performance reports Support executive reporting on budget vs. actual performance, forecasting, and capital spend Collaborate with Project Managers, Directors, and Engineers to gather and validate project information Support data migration and reporting initiatives within the PROCOM project tracking system Create exception reports and identify data inconsistencies requiring corrective action Assist with user support, training, documentation, and FAQ development Help improve reporting processes and data quality standards across the organization Required Qualifications Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, complex formulas, data analysis) Experience extracting and manipulating data from SAP or other ERP systems Strong data validation, cleansing, and reporting experience Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, 40 hours per week Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Engineering, Construction, Utilities, Energy, or Capital Projects environments Project Controls or PMO reporting experienceExperience preparing executive-level dashboards and performance metrics Training, documentation, or user support experience #J-18808-Ljbffr EPMA, Inc.
