Join our healthcare partner's Emergency Department team, where you'll coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. You'll play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and implementing patient care, ensuring that each individual receives the highest quality treatment.

• Perform age-appropriate assessments and provide safe, effective care to all ages
• Conduct triage using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) 5 level triage process
• Document and maintain an ED record that reflects all nursing care provided
• Collaborate with providers, peers, and ancillary departments for optimal patient care
• Coordinate care needs for multiple patients and prioritize effectively
• Communicate patient needs clearly and advocate for patients
• Monitor life support and technical equipment, administer medications, and perform emergency protocols
• Ensure compliance with legal consent, transfer protocols, and legislative requirements
• Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for each shift
• Participate in educational experiences for emergency providers and students
• Demonstrate proficiency in computer documentation of patient care

Requirements:

• Two-year degree in nursing required; four-year degree preferred
• Must hold and maintain Wisconsin Registered Nursing license or active Compact Licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC required; ATCN preferred
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
• Need 2 years experience in setting
