About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer (ACHIO) to join their team. The ACHIO will be a senior clinical informatics leader, serving as a strategic partner and integrator across clinical operations, information services, and enterprise transformation efforts. This role is pivotal in helping patient-facing care teams leverage clinical information systems, digital health, virtual health, analytics, and AI to enhance patient outcomes, experience, safety, and quality of care. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating enterprise and clinical priorities into measurable initiatives that reimagine care delivery and improve the clinician-patient relationship. Approximately 80% of the role is dedicated to strategic partnerships, and the ACHIO will be expected to be a trusted advisor to leaders, aligning quality, experience, finance, and informatics priorities with organizational goals. Applicants for the ACHIO position at the company must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with a current, active, and unrestricted medical license. Board certification in Clinical Informatics is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years' of experience in the healthcare field, with a focus on clinical informatics, digital health, virtual health, transformation, analytics, and operational improvement. A minimum of 5 years' of clinical practice using an EHR is required. The role demands a leader with expert knowledge in healthcare informatics and digital transformation, the ability to lead organizational change, and excellent strategic planning skills. The ACHIO will also be expected to have a strong background in communication, the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups, and a commitment to the mission of improving access, equity, outcomes, and experience in healthcare.
