TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, 74464!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring Must-Have: - BLS - NRP - Fetal Heart Monitoring Description: Unit specifics include BLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring requirements. The facility can cancel one shift every other week. An experienced OB nurse is needed with 15-17 births per month. The nurse will handle Labor & Delivery as well as Mother-Baby, Newborn Nursery, and Couplet Care. Responsibilities will also include managing Gynecology surgery patients. In case there are no patients, the nurse may float to Med/Surg. If not comfortable with Med/Surg patients, the nurse will assist with vitals and medication administration. The RN will perform all duties within the scope for laboring patients, triage, and mother-baby care. Support will be provided by an LPN during shifts. The RN will be responsible for all initial assessments and validations for new patients. In emergencies, the LPN will accompany patients to the OR while the RN remains available for triage duties. Being a small unit, creative solutions are often required. Excellent support and resources are available when needed.
