Clinical Pharmacist (Midnight Shift)

Delaware | 7-On / 7-Off Schedule | Relocation Assistance Available

A leading acute care healthcare organization is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join its overnight pharmacy team. This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, providing extended time off between rotations while working in a collaborative hospital environment.

The Clinical Pharmacist will play a key role in ensuring safe and effective medication management, supporting patient care teams, and performing both unit dose and sterile IV compounding responsibilities.

Position Highlights

Full-time overnight position
7 days on / 7 days off schedule
- Sunday-Thursday: 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM
- Friday-Saturday: 9:15 PM - 8:00 AM
Competitive pay: $55-$83 per hour
Additional overnight shift differential
$5,000 relocation assistance
Hospital-based clinical pharmacy environment

Responsibilities

Review and verify medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness
Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital policies
Perform sterile IV admixture and compounding
Manage unit-dose medication distribution
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Promote medication safety and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) or higher
Active Delaware Pharmacist License or ability to obtain
1-3 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Experience with sterile IV compounding and unit-dose distribution
Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
