What You’ll Do

• Cover inpatient stroke and general neuro services in a hospital setting
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure quality neuro patient care, including emergent stroke coverage
• Complete required documentation and patient assessments
• Adhere to facility policies, including temporary privileges and full malpractice coverage
• Support flexible scheduling needs with minimal call requirements

What You Need

• Valid medical license in Louisiana or ability to obtain one
• Board Certification in Neurology (preferred)
• Experience in inpatient stroke and neuro care (preferred)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Background check clearance (clean background required)
