Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office, where you will work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Implement individualized treatment plans based on the latest clinical evidence and best practices.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at improving patients' mobility and pain levels, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises.
• Manage a caseload effectively, ensuring each patient receives dedicated time and attention—typically handling one patient per hour.
• Educate and empower patients by designing personalized wellness and fitness programs tailored to their goals.
• Collaborate actively with other healthcare providers to promote a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in our EMR system, WebPT.
• Monitor and track patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will involve providing compassionate care to a diverse patient population, prioritizing their unique recovery journeys. You will engage with clients of all ages, addressing a wide array of physical challenges and mobility limitations.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist without any disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the implementation of exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with EMR Software, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient patient documentation and communication.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in implementing rehabilitation programs with measurable patient outcomes.
• Continued education and certification in specialized treatment techniques are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
