USA|Procurement Specialist 2

Our client, a leader in the power generation industry, is seeking a USA|Procurement Specialist 2 to join their team. As a USA|Procurement Specialist 2, you will be part of the procurement department supporting supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: USA|Procurement Specialist 2 Location: Charlotte, NC Pay Range: $30+ per hour Shift: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm What's the Job? Focus on tactical execution of schedules related to purchased materials at multiple suppliers for manufacturing processes. Collaborate with global and local project management and supply planning teams to ensure effective planning and execution. Monitor procurement lists, follow up on order confirmations, progress, and quality compliance. Support transportation and customs requirements in close collaboration with logistics teams. Lead technical clarifications with engineering, suppliers, and quality engineers to ensure project success. What's Needed? Bachelor of Science or Arts, with relevant certifications such as CPM or CPIM preferred. Minimum of three years of experience in purchasing, material requirement planning, or related fields. Advanced knowledge of Power Generation products and supply markets is preferred. Technical proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
