- Performs a variety of specific duties designed to develop knowledge and skill in applying IT specialist principles, methods and techniques.
- Performs a variety of specific duties designed to develop knowledge and skill in applying program management responsibilities in support of systems acquisition.
- Participates in the development of management information systems (MIS) in support of customer needs.
- Carries out special projects designed to facilitate the full use of the intern's training and development.
- Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to maintain currency in the field and for application to work assignments.
GS-09
- Participates in the planning and requirements determination process for Cyberspace and Information Technology (CIT) systems projects.
- Participates in program management responsibilities in support of systems acquisition initiatives.
- Performs management information system (MIS) assignments in support of customer needs.
- Carries out special projects designed to facilitate the full use of the intern's training and development.
- Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and professional developments to maintain currency in the field and for application to work assignments.
*This is a formal AF intern position in the Recent Palace Acquire Program (PAQ) and as such, it is centrally funded by HQ AFPC/DPZS.
