Accounts Receivable(AR) Analyst

Accounts Receivable Analyst Our client, a growing and established organization in Tempe, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with data, analyzing accounts, resolving discrepancies, and partnering with internal teams to improve cash flow and collections processes. This role is fully onsite and requires strong Microsoft Excel skills. Candidates with business-to-business (B2B) accounts receivable experience are highly encouraged to apply. The salary range is between $55,000-60,000. Key Responsibilities Manage and monitor accounts receivable balances for assigned customer accounts Research, analyze, and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, deductions, and unapplied cash Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate account balances Review aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding invoices Partner with customers and internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues Prepare AR reports and account analysis for leadership Assist with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and reporting Maintain accurate customer records and payment documentation Identify process improvements to enhance collections and cash application efficiency Utilize Excel to analyze data, create reports, and track account activity Qualifications Bachelor Degree preferred 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, or AR Analysis experience Experience working in a corporate, manufacturing, distribution, construction, service, or similar business environment Healthcare AR experience alone will not qualify Strong account reconciliation and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables
