Deputy Director

Deputy Director overseeing planning and coordination for implementing and interpreting federal laws and regulations governing Medicaid and CHIP operations and partnerships with states, territories, Tribal, and local governments.

Supervising and coordinating with staff, sets policy and program objectives, assigns and evaluates work, and plans and prioritizes tasks and schedules in coordination with the Director.

Providing leadership, subject matter expertise and technical support to States and other partners for implementation, monitoring and compliance.

Leading the development and strengthening of partnerships with state and local governments, providers, beneficiaries, representatives, and media to advance CMS Medicaid goals and objectives.
