Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and performance of surgical specimen and frozen section dissections.
• Perform surgical specimen dissection on simple to complex specimens, providing quality material for routine histology studies and other specialized tests.
• Dictate complete and accurate gross descriptions.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of the surgical pathology area.
• Perform and document quality control and routine preventive maintenance processes.
