Receiver PositionMeriwether Godsey is seeking a receiver at an independent, co-educational college preparatory day school located in Potomac, MD.Shift: 6:30 am-3:00 pm, Monday-Friday, and special events as neededPay: $19.50 per hourEmployment Type: Full TimeJob ResponsibilitiesReceive deliveries, assist with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies of stock.Store all incoming stock items in assigned locations, ensuring proper storage of perishables and rotation of stockClean and organize all BOH and FOH storage areasBreak down boxes and remove from the kitchen/dining room areaAssist with dishwashing duties, including using, cleaning, setting up, and breaking down the dishwashing machine, washing and stocking dishes, trash removal, floor cleaning, and other duties as assignedComplies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirementsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent experienceAbility to measure products and convert units of measureRegular and predictable attendanceCooperation, customer service, attention to detail, communication & interpersonal skills, team player, safety, organization, problem solving, adaptability/flexibility, resilience, dependability, trustworthyAbility to handle prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting overhead with repetitive motionMust be able to lift to 50 pounds repeatedly and push/pull up to 200 lbsAbility to read and interpret instructionsMay be required to work in excessive heat and cold areas within the kitchen environmentPossible exposure to fumes and mildly abrasive chemicalsMust be able to pass an FBI background checkBenefitsCompetitive pay, uniforms, meals, training, mentorship, and benefits (health, vision, dental, etc.)Meriwether Godsey offers significant opportunities for growth and career advancement.
