Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 17 Weeks | Expected 36–48 hours/week | Day/Evening/Night Rotating with Blocked Weekends | Floating, Holidays, On-Call, Callback, and Charge duties per unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Adult Emergency Department managing more than 100,000 visits annually
• Deliver nursing care within a Level I Trauma Center , the only such facility in the area
• Treat a diverse patient population across a broad range of emergency and trauma presentations
• Assist with boarder patient management as needed
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpretation as part of routine patient care
• Fulfill floating, on-call, callback, and charge responsibilities based on unit needs

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY License ONLY)
• Minimum two (2) years of Emergency Department experience
• Previous travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting required — this position is not able to support first-time travelers
• Telemetry experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity, high-volume trauma environment
• Comfort with charge nurse responsibilities and floating across units
