DevSecOps Engineer, Sr (Simulation and Training Products)

The Work We are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to drive complex software solutions for Rotary and Mission Systems business area in Moorestown, NJ. Working with only general direction, you will independently define solution approaches, lead design reviews, and ensure software deliverables meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Lead technical design reviews and validate solutions against requirements. Design, develop, and integrate software components. Collaborate with internal and external customers, cross‑functional teams, and senior technical leadership to resolve difficult technical issues. Perform formal system test methods associated with software requirements verification, software system regression, and data analysis. Who You Are You have the ability to mentor junior engineers, lead small development teams, and possess excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills for inter‑organizational and customer engagements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent). Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience. Experience with development of software requirements, requirement verification and working collaboratively with software engineers in the design, development, and test of software. Experience with designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level – U.S. Citizenship required. Desired Skills Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, and Python. Experience with Linux/Unix operating environment. Experience with network topology configuration, modeling tools, and static code analysis tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills that enable successful work in a collaborative and team‑based environment. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Compensation and Schedule The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 - $142,760. Schedule: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
